DAMAC TOWER - Heating / Cooling
The Orcomm touch screen is powered by PoE (#1).
The Touch screen then communicates via ORCNET to the ORCOMM Gateway (#2).
Orcomm Gateway (ORC-HAGW) then stops any smart home communication allowing only heating / cooling commands to pass through to the BACNET communication of TITAN controller (#3).
Inside the Apartment is a Local TITAN room display connected to the TITAN controller (#4). This has full local control and does not require Orcomm products / communication.
Heating / Cooling system is fully controlled by Titan control unit to the FCU directly (#5).
Maintenance
If the display on the touch screen does not match the Local TITAN room display then communication (#3) is not stable.
Check if the TITAN controller has EOL Bus resistor. If not then you can add resistor across the RS485 terminals [A] and [B] = (120 ohm) OR add jumpers inside the Orcomm ORC-HAGW should you have no resistors available.
